"NEOMAT CO." (as Special Design Technological Bureau of Inorganic
Materials of the Academy of Sciences of Latvia up to 1992) has
developed the high technologies and equipments for theproduction of
nanodispersed pure ceramic and metallic powders by plasmachemical
synthesis method. Over twenty years` experience in this line
directed to the fulfilment of the orders of themilitary-industrial
complex for the creation of science-intensive products provides
successful use of our powders for many important branches of
industry such as aeronautics, aviation, electronics,metallurgy, motor
industry, chemical industry et al. Major uses for our powders
include turbine blades, combustion chambers for aerospace and
aircraft vehicles, bearings, heat exchanger parts, electronicsand electrotechnics
devices, surgical instruments and microspheres for medicine, seals
and trim parts, components used in chemical industry and metallurgy
et al. Owing to the conditions of the plasmachemicalsynthesis the
nanodispersed powders with new phase composition and properties are
formed (in comparison with traditional techniqies). One of the
important properties is the high activity of the nanodispersedpowders. The small
size of particles of nanodispersed powders produced by plasma
chemical synthesis method is decreased the grain size during
recrystallization, at the same time the velocity of phasetransition is
increased, this method provides the homogenous dispersion of
ingredients of composition (nitride+oxide et al.) also. As result
the advanced technical characteristics are occured (in
comparisionwith traditional).
Our nanodispersed powders are also using as mixture with
”traditional” ones with average particle size of mkm and more, for
example for the sintering`s activators, what is provided theattainment of the
specific technical effect. In this case the content of
nanodispersed powders is on theaverage in the range of 3% up to 8%.

20nm up to 80 nm):

Silicon Carbide (SiC), Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3), Silicon Oxide
(SiO2), Titanium Oxide (TiO2), (Na-Li) Aluminate, Coppernanopowder suspension
in oil, Copper nanopowder modified by oleic acid, Tin nanopowder
modified by oleic acid, other nitrides, oxides, carbides and
composites on its base.
