Buckeye Technologies Inc. is a producer of value-added, cellulose-based specialty products used in a number of applications, including disposable diapers, personal hygiene products,engine, air and oil filters, concrete reinforcing fibers, food casings, rayon filaments, acetate plastics, thickeners and papers. The Company's products are produced in the United States, Canada, Germany and Brazil, and sold in approximately 60 countries worldwide. Its product lines can be grouped into four categories: chemical cellulose, customized fibers, fluff pulp and non-woven materials. It generates revenues from two segments, specialty fibers and non-woven materials. Specialty fibers are derived from wood and cotton cellulose materials using wetlaid technologies. The non-woven materials are derived from wood pulps, synthetic fibers and other materials using an airlaid process.
